    The purpose of this presentation is to help service providers gain knowledge and insight relative to the dynamics of intimate partner violence with an emphasis on lethality. It is designed to help practitioners recognize intimate partner violence and intervene in a manner that maximizes victim / survivor safety. CEU approval sources: Ohio Counselor and Social Worker CPE hours approved, #RCST111001 (valid until November 2015), by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage and Family Therapist Board; KY Board of Social Work Continuing education sponsorship number KBSWSP2015030 (valid until 7/31/2016). Successful completion of this offering includes attending the entire offering and completion of evaluation. If you arrive late or leave early continuing education provider does not constitute endorsement of program content. Course content aimed at intermediate level. Focus areas: Professional Counselor Theory, Counseling Techniques, Social/Cultural finds, Clinical Counseling Methods/Interventions/Prevention;  Social Work SW Methods and Special Populations; Marriage and Family Therapy: Appraisal of Individuals and Families. Course content aimed at Social Workers seeking an introductory instructional level. 3 hours credit approval for session.
