  Develop a further understanding of methamphetamine use & misuse, including the effects and signs of use, how sex plays an important role in crystal meth use, and identify evidence-based and practice-informed strategies to address methamphetamine use disorders. Presenters will share both clinical and lived experience.

  Course Objectives:

  1. Identify the effects of methamphetamine use.
  2. Recognize the signs of methamphetamine use with gay men.
  3. Understand the history of crystal meth within the gay community.
  4. Recognize how sex plays an important role with crystal meth use.
  5. Identify evidence-based and practice-informed strategies to address methamphetamine use disorders, engagement strategies, and treatment resources.
