    Self Injury Assessment and Treatment

    Location: Hamilton County Mental Health Board, Auburn Ave

    Presenters: Marcy Marklay, LPCC, Child/Adolescent/Young Adult Therapist, Lindner Center of HOPE

    Participants will be involved in a discussion of what self-injury is and who is at risk. They will learn risk assessment and safety concerns as well as discuss interventions and treatment. Participants will also hear about community resources. Participants will leave the training able to define self-injury and recognize the key symptoms and understand the process of risk assessment. Participants will learn key interventions and treatment strategies. Successful completion of this offering includes attending the entire offering and completion of evaluation.
