Intimate Partner Violence Dynamics and Local Resources

Presenter: Kendra Massey, Vice President of Programming, Women Helping Women

In this course, attendees will learn the dynamics of partner violence, including definitions, power and control dynamics, and barriers survivors face when trying to end an abusive relationship or access support. Attendees will learn effective ways to support survivors of intimate partner violence as well as interventions to avoid and local resources. CEU approval sources: Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board CPE hours approved, #RCST111001 ; KY Board of Social Work Continuing education sponsorship number KBSWSP-2016027 . Successful completion of this offering includes attending the entire offering and completion of evaluation.
